If you haven’t talked to an aged care adviser yet then here are the Ten Important Questions you need to ask before getting Aged Care Advice.
- What type of Aged Care Service will you or your loved one need?
- What are the costs of Aged Care and do you know if you can afford the care?
- Do you know what questions to ask? If not, you can get help from a specialist financial adviser.
- Do you know where to find relevant information about aged care? The facilities, the homes, the cost and the financial assistance available?
- Do you or your loved ones have special language, disability, health, cultural and/or religious needs?
- Have you prepared or even considered your Wills, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship or Advanced Health Directives?
- Do you know what effect this transitioning to aged care can have on your Pension or Centrelink entitlements?
- Have you engaged a specialist advisor to assist you with your Aged Care needs?
- Have you informed a close relative or friend of your Plans and Wishes if something happens to you suddenly? And, has it been documented?
- Question 10 and finally, are you and your loved ones REALLY PREPARED?
So for good sound advice I’d like to offer you a free one on one appointment to talk about your needs. So contact me by email or phone and I’ll see you soon
